Bring two contrasting scale treatments into your next fantasy illustration. Sapphire uses tightly layered midnight-blue scales with cool luminous rims; Pearl offers softer ivory scales with rose-gold accents. Place a texture over your drawing, mask it to the area you want and adjust the blend mode or opacity. These are illustrated color textures with baked lighting, intended for 2D artwork rather than physically based 3D materials.

Clip a texture to a painted scale or armor area, try Soft Light or Overlay, and lower the opacity until your own shading remains visible.
Formats & compatibility
Import a PNG or JPG into an image editor that supports these formats. Images are flattened, opaque RGB artwork, not layered PSD files or installed brushes. There are no normal, height, roughness or metallic maps. Each file was decoded and checked during packaging.
Can I repeat the texture?
These images are not verified seamless tiles. Repeating them may reveal edges, folds or lighting changes. Use them as single images or blend the edges yourself for a particular composition.
